Amazing car, Dave. Amazing enough to bring me back to comment on a PH thread - 6 years since Whippy had a 930 now.... Indeed, you've owned it since!
Can't wait to get home to Ireland to see it...... I'll even leave you the 1989 farm LR defender the week I borrow it.... Ha ha ha ha!
Delighted for you, no bigger Porsche man on the planet!

Thanks, have you a part number for the helmet bag please?
Not on sale apparently. This was a promo gift from Porsche to owners. Seems to have shown up in many geographies though so maybe it will happen directly for you. Does not come from the dealer but from Porsche. Was reading re a turbo 996 on another thread and the issues that could result after a spin on a trackday if you do not put it into neutral fast enough, what is the recommended procedure if one were to spin and go backwards in a 991 RS? On previous cars i've instantly dipped the clutch and then selected the appropiate gear , not applicable in this case ?
Depending on what you're used to driving I think I'd get prepared to be quite impressed.
I was impressed in particular with its urge, noise, handling which I thought defied it's size on the tight track, and just the general grin factor.
Try and pick a quieter time on the handling circuits if you can, personally I wouldn't waste any time on the wet areas, the low friction areas yes for a bit.
