You asked why do people feel screwed? I'm telling you why I potentially might feel screwed. I've not made a mistake in "believing what I've been told". The feeling of being screwed or not has nothing to do with whether I believed it or otherwise.

I've had numerous Porsche but that doesn't mean I get one even though, as with others, I'm high up the list with deposit paid.
I for one have no intention of selling unless they release a GT4 RS...

^ agree with this. Submitting multiple LOI's to try and secure a car does not mean someone is a speculator. It simply means they want to maximize their chance of getting a great drivers car to enjoy. I have no car at present as been waiting for the GT4 and no intention of selling it should I get one. Tough question. Personally wouldn't sell to anyone that has flipped a premium car. I would look after repeat business customers ie buy/sell through dealer and also service with them. Just because someone lodges a LOI out the blue I don't see why you owe any loyalty. I own a few ferrari's but have no proper relationship with them as don't buy enough new cars. Wasn't even considered for a LaF or even Speciale SA.

Interesting you use the word "flip". Flipping is rife in the art world where repeat customers get first dibs on artworks by the next up and coming thing which then find their way into auction houses at inflated prices before the paint is even dry. Agreed, it's a tough one with no easy solution...
Either way, I've got the GT4 PEC and Geneva VIP tickets so if I don't get the car it'll be the weirdest car buying experience I've ever had!
