Last recorded service in 2018.
It's been updated now, the last service was done by RPM in 2020. Looking at the notes there's a story behind the lack of paperwork which is understandable, but they've located some history. I'm not fussed about a service 4 years ago provided it hasn't done mega miles since. It's a unique combo in terms of exterior/interior trim and could be a decent buy.I'm keeping a keen eye as 997TT prices seem to be getting stronger, so interested to see where this one lands.

It’ll need recommissioning for sure, but I’d hesitate to call it pointless.
Hopefully next exceptionally wealthy owner will drive it.
what's the point for them, it's an asset class, not a car. The driving will likely be to a Scramblers meet or on the back of a truck to Goodwood lawn etc. Call me cynical. Hopefully next exceptionally wealthy owner will drive it.

and that was despite a lowered reserve! I wonder if the owner will regret holding out for more, as GBP 420K seemed really strong money. That is just over GBP 100K more than the two low mileage Guards Red and Black RHD 993 RSs that Silverstone Auctions sold a couple of years ago and which were, I believe, both bought by Tom Hartley Jr for his private collection of 993s. I thought he paid too much at the time, but clearly Tom knows what he is doing (and I don't).freedman said:

Maybe it is tucked away for another five years.

Could have been phantom bidders? If the owner is on here pls PM me I know someone looking for a 993 RS just like that. They'd want it inspected before purchasing.
I can assure it is what it is,great car, nuts money if you want to use it.Service history has no bearing on this car if you know your 993,the only essential thing i would replace is the flexy fuel lines front and back, change all fluids, check brakes and get on and use it,or sadly store away for another period.
You never know the owner may well have been keeping everything up together, which is not difficult if not being used and go no where near a opc.

This reminds me of a thread on here, many years ago, by a chap who’s mum specced a 997 Turbo, before sadly passing away from cancer before it was built. I wonder if this was the car. My memories hazy but it was a very similar colour scheme, if not this car.IMI A said:

Replace with which fuel lines please? is there a go-to supplier? It's always been on the to-do list given the age of the 993. Thanks in advance .
