Thought you'd be on speed dial from Maranello :-)

Agreed, it's a tough one with no easy solution...

Either way, I've got the GT4 PEC and Geneva VIP tickets so if I don't get the car it'll be the weirdest car buying experience I've ever had!
Not got either of them! Hopefully means you ok then!

Will be at Geneva though as want to see the RS.

Geneva, as is the RS, is going to be epic this year.

Are you grabbing some skiing whilst over there Andy?

Yes, have place in Nendaz so Geneva for a day then 2 days skiing.

Hopefully. And if i was running a business I would look after my repeat customers rather than ones who write several LOI as they think they can flip a car.
It's the ones who get the car without asking who flip imo

All the guys here who have been after the GT4 are keen sports car owners.

My mates who bought the 4.0 still own them despite the overs. Don't see why a dealer would supply a known flipper with a car.

I agree don't supply a flipper, but why give 918 clients 1st option on a £65k car ?
loi does not make you a flipper, !

Many Cayman owners out there who want the best Cayman, this will be my 3rd.

Why give 911 and 918 clients a Cayman when they have never owned a Cayman ?

Cars should be given to past Cayman owners if anything who have supported the model.

With only say 170 odd 991gt3 we have seem a lot for sale that's for sure.

But take a Spyder and there is only 1 for sale.

Very kind smile might be more keen to take up your offer of a pax lap at Silverstone in the gt3 if you're there next month though!
no no no, you can drive me, not letting you escape that easy, then you can say just how good it is, but I might have something a bit quicker at the time.....

There's at least one person on this thread who won't keep the car more than 6 months...

Also at some point we need to put to bed the 991TTS 12C Myth.....out of interest what was the max speed you saw down the hanger st, before the right hander?

I can understand why some feel they have been 'screwed' over.
My son put in a LOI for the GT4 many months ago and was told 3rd on the list. Monthly communication with the OPC confirmed 3rd on the list. Car released and OPC turned round and said now 9th on list. Explanation was that my son was 3rd on one of the salesman's list but there are 4 salesmen. Eh?
DP emailed us to say wont have a chance of a Gen 1 and no chance of Gen 2 as so far down the list.
However we have a 991 GT3 so not that upset and I always remind myself of two things: the DP isn't running around in a GT3 and at the end of the day these guys are 'car salesmen' and we all know they operate.

Heh definitely yes would be good to sort that one out hehe will try to remember to take the vbox, you just need to stick non n rated supersports on and we'll be even on tyres too!

Indicated 155-160 most laps ie probably 3-5 mph less in reality before braking for stowe. Cold temps and a bit slow exiting becketts though that day, reckon the car could do a bit more next time.

I would get that faulty speedo looked at, lol.....that's a good top speed the most I saw in the TTS was 167 , but that was braking really late. The standard Pzros on the TTS are worse than rubbish on track, after 6 laps the pressures are way to high, they don't dial down well either. Putting some MPSC2s on next week......

Btw , my friend in the lambo H, saw 170, but says it was very hard work..

I posted this in the RS thread but I thought you GT4 boys would be happy to see marketing have positioned the GT4 as 'rawer' (less usable day to day) than the GT3...

The blue circle is reserved for the RS.

Interesting but perhaps questionable..........so going off the chart a 991 GT3 without front lift would be as 'usable' as a GT4 perhaps.......

That graph doesn't go back far enough towards performance to put a 996 RS on it though does it?
