In the meantime, keep the high level brake lights - the reflections look very cool at night in your rear view mirror. thumbup
+1

And I think it acts as a wing and helps keep the car down smile

That car could have sold a few times over. They did get an awful lot of interest. I put a deposit down within 30 mins of seeing the ad.

edit..oh, and it's got Keith Flint's autograph in the owners manual wink

This is me with Keith at Cadwell Park doing a track day.

No, more a reunion smile

It will be fine - I went to Le Mans in mine last summer and would do the trip again tomorrow.

Weather should be better for you though!

I have done this before and am doing it again this year. It was one of the best drives I've done. Roof off out of the Eurotunnel and not back on till the entry to the Eurotunnel 10 days later. Try going via Geneva for the better driving roads, only 80km further but so much more fun. Feels like the spyder is at home down there, also not forgetting the sounds in all those tunnels.

Definitely take it on a european jaunt - here's my first one up a mountain in Switzerland on the way to Perugia, Italy. Did this particular trip in October 2010, roof off pretty much all the way.

Love mine but fancy an Alcantara steering wheel - m33ufo I think you went this route, any idea of cost?
Considering getting current one re-trimmed unless a factory wheel isn't meg aexpensive (unlikely I know)

So it is.. unfortunately wrong colour stitching/band on top of wheel/silver spokes.
Sadly even I know my Carrera Red interior won't take too kindly to that combo.

Good luck with sale.

I didn't see that this related to just the steering wheel - thought you'd got bored again...

Nope smile I'm more than happy with the car.

edit Here's the wheel link just in case anyone is interested...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181083038705?ssPageName=...

based losely on the GT3 RS wheel. Mine is slighly thicker due to having the alcantara wrapped over the original leather.
