I honestly can't believe this thread is still going. Ronin for his own amusement has strolled into the PH forum and merrily thrown a hand grenade in our room and then left to watch us squabble like girls lol - and we have taken the bait hook, line, and sinker - that's the amusing bit
Agree with that apart from the 'amusing' bit pete a said:
Sidicks, I've not met you, and in person you are possibly completely different to your online persona, but you really do come across as the biggest 991 GT3 fking nosebleed fanboy in the universe.
It's a fking great car I'm sure, most 911's are, but unless I'm wrong Porsche didn't appoint you as the 991 GT3 ambassador did they?
It's a free forum, feel free not to read or post on 991 GT3 related topics....It's a fking great car I'm sure, most 911's are, but unless I'm wrong Porsche didn't appoint you as the 991 GT3 ambassador did they?

At least you don't deny that's all you post about,
It isn't. Have you looked at the threads I've started in the last year or so, and those I've responded to?pete a said:
and just because you're a prick don't mean I can't read 991 GT3 threads does it?
Think that through.
Nice, well done.Think that through.

I love the directness from our US cousins. They must be enjoying this but please, please don't stop it...
It's highly amusing to see how some who can afford £100K + cars react.
Even beats what is on TV (Benidorm - ITV4 at the moment)...and that's saying something
I've tuned in every night - great Value for money.

Ok possibly another turbo v GT3 thread then :
Though the turbo s is more of a point and squirt nuclear missile than a cruiser, high revving NA and forced induction motors tends to appeal to different people and seems to polarise opinions
As always agree to differ.
Enjoy the NA (and manual) while you can. - It's seems as though I'm all forced induction now

Thank you, your lack of robust refute says it all.
Are you 5 years old?And yes I have driven the 991 GT3, and owned many other cars at that level. A competent car, but some do find it play station.

Cut it out Sidicks, and even you have to agree you come across as a super 991 GT3 fanboi. You are new to this level of cars and so people can understand your puppy enthusiasm, but do tone it down please.,
Perhaps you should tell the other poster who has resorted to offensive insults to 'cut it out'.Mermaid said:

Indeed, and I've driven the 997 GT3...Mermaid said:

Some do, and I've never criticised anyone for stating that opinion if they've actually driven the car...Mermaid said:

Ignore, and move on,
Like you did?I'm sure if someone called you a **** or similar you wouldn't respond....
Enjoy what you like, buy what you can afford, sell what you don't like, respect others choices.

You can judge a car in one day and a few hundred miles - hacks do it in a few hours if not minutes. I use this to choose cars and chose the porsche over V12V ( much to the annoyance of AM fans) - back to back over two days was enough to rule out the V12V for me.
Would agree with the above. Way too much is made about needing thousands of miles to get to know a car. You have a pretty good idea of whether you will like a car over another within an hour's drive if there are decent roads. More time is then needed to fully understand a car's behaviour especially at grip limit but that requires going on track and I note a good few 991 gt3 owners aren't even planning to track their cars.....sidicks said:

C'mon, you sound like a bleating fanboy, let others have their opinions. Do you realise about half of this quality thread is comprised of your posts (no, I didn't tally them up, but I'm sure you will just so you can get the last word in...)?AGree this thread is far from amusing, although this part did make me laugh

The Ultima is an awesome car, I was looking for one to buy before I bought the 991 Turbo S....
how many more posts do we have to read of the ronin explaining why he prefers apples over oranges ... such a pointless threadisaldiri said:

Don't need to track them to determine most cars capabilities.......deserted quality A and B driving roads are perfect.....dependent upon where you live, of course. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
