It's got one of those clocks on the dash too but I think it's stuck!

Why don't you use the Spyder emblem that's already on it?
I would doubt that the adhesive backing would work adequately a second time.

I just got some thin trim tape off eBay. Are the badges cheap?

How are you getting on with PDK?
Only about £27 plus vat.

No real opinion on the PDK yet. Spent most of the drive home on the M4 in heavy wind and rain and traffic. Hopefully we'll get some dry weather soon and I'll give it a proper go.

Lovely looking car.

To my eye the blue makes it look even lower.

If it were me I'd keep the Black wheels, though what you do with the side decal then is a problem.
Definitely looks fantastic in the flesh. I'm keeping the black decal and wheels.

What about the steering wheel, any plans, I know you like playing with those!!
There's no interior alcantara on this car (except the seats), so I'll stick to leather.

The gent who bought my old car decided to have the oem spec all black wheel so I have my alcantara trimmed one here. The alcantara worked well on that car because you also had the door pulls in alcantara as well as the seats.

I did see a very nice carbon and leather wheel on ebay a few days ago but it's a custom job, not oem.

Cheers....it's pretty much wall to wall rain here for the coming week. Damn I need to clean it! I don't usually have OCD issues but it was looking so sparkly when I collected it!

Maybe I'll order some "products" while I'm waiting. I definitely need some new wash mitts and I'm almost out of Victoria Wax Concours!

Hey i always thought my Arctic Spyder was the best looking i'd seen but in the flesh this looks fab. Pics just don't do it justice and in that respect it's much like Arctic example.

Do miss PCCB but this is a great car.

ha ha .... I saw a couple of pics of the car at the Nurburgring. I thought it was compulsory to put the circuit sticker on your rear bumper if you'd gone round there?!! smile

Maybe you should reserve judgement until you see it? In the flesh, at the risk of repeating myself, the black works. Especially on a bright day I imagine.

It really does. Before seeing it I was all for silver side decals but I'm definitely not messing with it now.

m33ufo, why the change? Is it mainly for the PDK box? I'll have it off you when you're done with it!

Surprised Keith didn't go for the ceramics. Him an Liam are real car nuts.
When I sold my old Spyder the last thing I was looking for was another so soon. I did anticipate I'd own one again at some point if an appealing spec came up. I was looking for a change and considering R8's, AM V8V 4.7's, 997TT's etc but after 3 or 4 weeks of constant browsing of the ads I was a little uninspired.

Saw the ad from 911V last Saturday lunchtime (no pic, just the spec) and it called to me, and probably a few others! Main attraction was the colour which I hadn't seen on a Spyder before or even heard of in the UK (seems there's another on DSpyda), and the full leather which again was unusual and desireable. It's a contrasting spec to my previous Spyder but also appealing.

PCCB is a great option. Guess you can't have everything smile

The "Spyder" badge is £31'ish inc vat. Bought one a couple of days ago.
