CGT. Never again will we be able to buy a manual naturally aspirated supercars.
In my view, this is huge statement. The CGT is the last of the analogue supercar. And that V10 engine, bloody hell, have you heard one? Shivers down the spine. And not from 'sound imposiums' or fancy valved exhausts or hybrid tech. Just good old four stroke engine goodness!
I reckon this car is WELL undervalued at the moment. Just wait.
Off topic slightly - However what's people's thoughts on the Renault Clio V6 - both M1& M2 were just over a thousand made ?
Of the just over a thousand made I think the Mk1 & Mk2 there's not that many in the uk ie under 200 of each
All cars have a metal plaque inside with the actual build no on it

Yes, these are fun cars and will indeed be recognised in the hall of fame!

A friends Dad is a (very wealthy) car collector & speculator, I believe he has one of each which leads me to think they are a sound investment. Of the just over a thousand made I think the Mk1 & Mk2 there's not that many in the uk ie under 200 of each

Not sure I agree on the Carrera GT, this is the cheapest:

SLR is down to 126K on the PH Classifieds and think it will be a while longer until cars only 10 years old start going up considerably.
997 GT3 only has because of issues with the 991 imo

When a:
jag XJS is seen as a classic
1980/1990's Mercedes SL's have doubled
Porsche 911 T and 365 have trippled
Volkswagen split screen camper has quadrupled
Shed barges on the increase e.g. 1990's BMW 740, Audi A8 etc
It's time to sell unless of course, you have actually bought a car you like and want to enjoy.
On topic though, 930 Turbo would get my money for the next double before the market comes back down
Yep, and a Ferrari 400i went for 36k at RM this week, surely a bubble barometer if ever there was one.jag XJS is seen as a classic

Frankly - the 991RS is probably going to up from its list due to the way they restrict the import numbers. Other than that, the 996GT3 certainly has headroom and so do the 996 and 997 GT2s. Air cooled cars in decent shape will probably continue to drift up. Early 996s and Boxsters are at floor prices at the moment (saw what seemed to be a decent enough 986 with no declared issues listed a £3k the other day) so they can only really go up. Spyders certainly don't look like they will lose anything as things are going...
Frankly, even cooking 987.2 Boxsters aren't falling in the way one might expect over the last year or so (though the higher start price means that similar vintage 911s are drifting down, but even those seemingly not like they used to).
But Ballistic? None I would say. Except perhaps the ones that are already deep into classic exotic status (908s and such like).

True.
Didn't see £350 for it TBH. Will it hold though ?.
But then didn't see it happening to mine either....but that will hold or rise as appeals to the wider sector...Classic market / Cap Gain free investment etc
The CGT sits in a microcosm IMO...
If your so sure it's a bargain...why not invest ?. I could be hugely wrong

I think my little Lupo GTI will go up.....at some point.
Great little driver's car with a 1.6 16V engine, lightened aluminium body panels and the all important manual gearbox and german build quality.
Only approx. 953 were ever sold and now there appears to be 853 left according to https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/volkswagen_l...

funnily enough I said 996 turbo.
Just read an article from a collector of all exotica and general classic cars and he has predicted the same that the 996 turbo will certainly rise and looking at the prices they are starting to, they are and have been the bargain of the century for too long.
