"at which point did I realise I typed in 399 squids !" post amended

rather from the perspective that I had done 3 full days at bedford last year for £199, via 2x easytrack and fastrak...

and 3 hours track time would really mean at least 1.5 hours - 2 hours tops on track.. so from that view I was hesitant.... but certainly not dismissive of the event..

and to a degree, in a 993 Targa you do kind of feel the odd one out when almost everyone else comes to play with a GT3 of sorts, but it does add to the chalelnge of the chase for a few corners at least ! but I would rather stick to the Porsche days as opposed to the no-mirrors bridgage of other track days mixes..

but another year is now upon us, so I'm always up for a different event, diary permitting

so all in all if such days are run this year, I might try and come along to one, as I am planning to try a variety of tracks this year, so Bedford is no longer a must do, but for such an event, it will give me more of an excuse to come along to bedford..

that was my "feedback"

i went to 2 autocar evenings at bedford last year..they are run by motorsportvision (johnathan palmer's company)

and were really good value. ranged from £129 up to £179, and were sponsored by one manufacturer each time meaning that aswell as running your own car on what seemed like an empty circuit (30 or so cars)
you also got 3 laps in whatever they brought along. I drove a nissan 350z and a caterham.

the are also open pit and run for three hours.
