not at all, just someone who belittles others who have worked hard and saved for his pride & joy. only for them to be shoot down. you genrealy find them in muswell hill, that sort of type

Good try as a gag about Muswell Hill... as a matter of fact it's full of artisans such as myself who wouldn't be seen dead in a white, overly flashy porsche....would much rather get one that's a little less "in your face" and certainly not one that screams "City wan*er" at you.... I keep saying this..if you want the car to be a driving dream and not just an advert for yor shortcomings, there are plenty of other porsches to go for than a souped-up to**ermobile...

MHM - apart from having no interest whatsoever about where your from or who you "think" you are, most of the drivel you post here is wasting my bandwith and its dragging down the overall impression anyone could have of a porsche owner, we, in case you handn't noticed are not arrogant tossers stuck up our own ass' unlike whatever is in between your seat and keyboard inputting these posts.

please, if your some "too good for us" type a guy with nothing of interest to input here I think I speak for us all when I say go the away asshole.

Forgot to say the flash city type's 997tt would be a manual, as he read on the net that tiptronics are "rubbish".
No the citys 'types' car would be tiptronic..that way he can hold the steering wheel with his left hand whilst getting his right elbow out of the window...bose blasting..in automatic bliss...Actually,most Tiptronics are sold to city wankers where the 4mph crawl up Bishopsgate suits that ridiculous gearbox perfectly

kayc - whilst some of you comments are genuinely funny you really can be a first grade cock sometimes...!!

I'm a "city wanker" and happen to drive a Tip 997. The city has moved on a lot since you last visited which was obviously in the 80s sometimes...

Wanker comments like yours are more likely the reason that old stereotypes still exist and my humble apologies to you for not buying a "real Porsche"...

Dunno where you live, chief, but in North London, Muswell Hill is considered "proper pukka".

Born and bred in north london, have lived in MH for a while too and can't say I've come across many artisans in my time round there - mainly city types and school run mums that can afford the over inflated prices or the invasion of the Wood Green/Turnpike Lane lot that make it look like Limassol on the weekend.

FYI, an artisan, or a craftsman, is a skilled manual worker who uses tools and machinery in a particular craft.

You know, I'm bored of people on this site going on about what kind of amazing car they could afford (in a way this might apply to the w*nker with the white Boxster), but I have to ask...in terms of Muswell Hill ... would I be right in guessing that you could only afford the Colney Hatch end...??

Nope, you'de be wrong. Very wrong. Not far from the junction of Fortis Green and Queens Avenue.

Your presumptuous attitude reminds me why I moved out of the area.

Highly amused by the importance MHM seems to attach to where he lives. S'pose it keeps him occupied while he searches for his personality. Personally I've always thought one should either live right in the heart of town or in the country. Always thought those northern suburbs terribly naff don't you know and now I've had it confirmed. Find myself - worryingly - in accord with kayc's very reasonable views on automatics (it's no good giving it a fancy name)too.

I think Ducati Gary summed things up nicely at the top of page three.

No one is going on about cars they could afford except you. The thread started out about Gembella Boxsters. Why not post up some piccies of your car.

Now that is so 'in your face' and uncool that it's, well, deeply cool - nice pic.

Another 15yr dreamer I suspect. If you're going to try and show off about how much money you have... try picking a better area than MW. There are some people on here who actually know a thing or two about London...!!
