I saw this film about these kids who borrow a Ferrari and picked up a really good mileage reduction tip.

And the sad thing is a lot of the kids today have never seen it

Cossers i cant comment on where is taffy,as they stopped me,and i was the one who asked for the thread to be taken down because of av extreme outbursts.
Dont leave, dont let them get you down, some are just very sad folk, come across with some of the Irish contingent as they do every year to our RS day at oulton.

Slippy dont know where ire has gone, possibly waiting for his next dolphinsmile or peed off with some of the heavy banter.

I often work with some people who are a few years younger than Me. I dont even need to ask now when I meet new colleagues. Guaranteed they have seen none of the greats like Rambo, Rocky - which I actually watched again recently and it is rubbish, the one we are not mentioning, Weird Science - one of my all time faves, Blues Brothers, the list goes on and on. I think some of not even seen ET.

Right up there in my all time, watch again favourites. The cast is stellar. Belushi and Aykroyd are immense, but the music stars in support are truly excellent.

I used the film to learn to drive - I always park the 993 like this.

Is there any another way to park? hehe

I think my favourite bit was the gig they played, being the chicken wire, at that country & western club.

Usually someone will come along and point out we are off topic. But because these are all the very best films of all time I think it is ok to continue?

My favourite, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it”. A quote I have lived by.

Side note, I think the Blues Brothers still holds the record for the longest car chase in a film? Google says its 11m 15sec, but I think that is wrong as it’s pretty much the whole film isn’t?

I was keen on them when I was a teenager, this is me in red with my mate Jim around 1987 with my Bluesmobile in North London.
My £150 Mk3 Cortina Bluesmobile. I had lots of adventures in that one.

I terrorised central London in it for 3 years and - unsurprisingly got pulled about 1,000 times.
Back on theme, this is me yesterday offroading in a very suitable vehicle.

It's a photos thread, so anything goes, but fortunately it is a somewhat difficult thread for the spec/value Nazis to crowbar their drivel into smile

So true, and brings to mind this classic from Basil :
