Blues Brothers were EPIC!
Right up there in my all time, watch again favourites. The cast is stellar. Belushi and Aykroyd are immense, but the music stars in support are truly excellent.
I used the film to learn to drive - I always park the 993 like this.

Is there any another way to park? hehe

I think my favourite bit was the gig they played, being the chicken wire, at that country & western club.
I was keen on them when I was a teenager, this is me in red with my mate Jim around 1987 with my Bluesmobile in North London.
My £150 Mk3 Cortina Bluesmobile. I had lots of adventures in that one.

I terrorised central London in it for 3 years and - unsurprisingly got pulled about 1,000 times.
Back on theme, this is me yesterday offroading in a very suitable vehicle.
Those are fantastic pics and memories. It looks like @politeperson was nor as polite in his youth biggrin

And now we need to know, can you do the Parking Job in your 992?

I’m from the same era and got introduced to Porsche by condorman if anyone remembers it? My Dad took me to the cinema to see it and all I can remember is the black Porsches.

Been hooked ever since, had the Athena posters and even did an art project on a silver 959.

A gentler time!

No H/B turns with an electric handbrake. I would have to modify it "Bad Boys" style.
That's not on the cards!

Hello, yes it is. DM me for info if you're getting one done by them. I had a great experience with them, very open to ideas and willing to make it a 'collaborative' project.
They're proper old school porsche fans.

I'm having the gulf blue rsr done - very similar to yours, bit more touring spec I guess.

Very nearly finished. Rolling road, ppf (Simon doesn't like ppf) and side decals. Collecting Feb once salty roads are gone.

Will dm.

Or do me as I think your settings are blocking dms.

Dont leave, dont let them get you down, some are just very sad folk, come across with some of the Irish contingent as they do every year to our RS day at oulton.

Slippy dont know where ire has gone, possibly waiting for his next dolphinsmile or peed off with some of the heavy banter.
Just to clarify the situation Cossers (Antony) requested that the mods close his PH membership and delete all his posts prior to the post above that Yellow responded to.
He was informed the process may take up to a month.
Seemingly it didn't take that long ...
