Yes, it's not many but thought it was quite a bit more than earlier versions and more are still to be delivered...
I'd love one by the way they are awesome beasts
They are just that , I hope they get to a point where you feel "happy" to buy one. In truth it's very hard to determine where they will end up - if I was guessing I'd say about £k220 short term £K 200 if you're willing to wait quite a long time (well over a year IMHO) : over 2 years on good GT3's are still about £K 145 . The spec difference between a good GT3 and a good RS is about £K 35 - so £K 225 to 200 seems there or there about , depending on how long you are willing to wait . I'd love one by the way they are awesome beasts
Main thing though is the true cost of ownership is driven by depreciation , not ticket price - I'm convinced at this sort of level they will "cost" far less in real terms than a 991.2 heavily specced car and they are incomparable !!!!
Fingers crossed and good luck

Thanks, I can't see them plummeting below 200k to be honest. If only the 911 sport one at 212 had PCCBs...also need to rearrange garage as 991 RS is a foot longer than my tiny 964 turbo!
Hmmmm , 964 Turbo , hey - now that sounds very nice. You've obviously got great taste in cars - 964 Turbo , one of the prettiest Porsches ever made - photos please ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Doubt if the dealers are buying them so something like 10k is the bid to offer for SOR. The cars at silly money will be stuck and eventually get taken back and driven or price will fall and end up with someone who will use. Another thread has numbers of these cars and UK 991 RS is over 200 so far and quite a few more could come up for sale
200 is not many cars ; production is nearly finished - odd one here or there - but they are going to be pretty rare things ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

200+ is almost double 7.1RS or 7.2RS UK cars. Even allowing for some lhd euro imports that is a heck of a lot more cars than previous and they are still being delivered here well into this summer.
No doubts on that - more than double, compared to the prior RS models, global quantity of cars produced. Market is vastly bigger and plenty of wealthy collectors who will squirrel away a car or two. And Porsche is an emotive brand. footsoldier said:
Market vastly bigger cos people have been thinking it's a sure fire 'investment'.
Lottery sales would go up if all tickets were winners!
Old lottery tickets without the winning numbers tend to lose value quickly though....
It's never a new paradigm where bubbles are involved.
But.....it's different this time Lottery sales would go up if all tickets were winners!

Gosh , I had no idea the 997 RS's are so rare - are you really sure there were only 100 or so of each - that's amazing ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
