Well, got it back

My first impression is how complete a package the whole project has created. The car drives more refined than stock, but when pushed is very, very aggressive. The fun starts at around 2, 700 with a faint Dyson - esque sound, building strongly till 4, 000 revs when it explodes and pulls relentlessly to the redline. The CG race exhaust and big diameter cats have transformed the noise; a very rasping snarl, with cracks and bangs on full bore up shifts. During low speed driving you can hear the turbos spinning up and down giving a whizzing sound, which makes me feel like I did when sliding down the rope in the school gym.

I have not pushed it too hard due to the weather and dark, but the first few times booting it in 2nd and 3rd I was thinking it was not that fast and maybe the clutch was slipping At the next attempt I realised it was actually the back wheels spinning as the engine went through peak torque.

More thoughts tomorrow, as my head is still from the drive home.

Sounds like it sounds ... fantastic. Look forwards to a flypast.

Very interested to know your new TT benchmark figures.

Glad you've got in back for the holidays Martyn.
