If you aren't going to track it, I honestly think it might be a mistake.
They aren't that comfortable on the road, and whilst that is acceptable for a toy, and part of the fun, I'm not sure the argument is that sound if you won't go on track with it. After all track ability is why the setup is a bit compromised for fast road usage. Just things like having to take every speed bump diagonally will get on your tits if its a daily driver.
Also if you are still having issues of your standard car stepping out on you unexpectedly on the road, this will be more of a handful
Of course if it's just a weekend toy, then no problem, but realise that you can't really tap its abilities on the road and it won't instill confidence on crap B roads when trying to seriously press on.

Is the mk1 lower than the mk2? I rarely have problems with speed bumps, much less than I did with the Noble anyway. But then I have the bloated barge of a comfort model.
Go on mr nervous, go on...

what do you use yours for sam? mainly road or a combo of road and track? judging by youre profile i would assume you can afford to have a little man walking around in front of you smoothing out speed bumps and laying down velvet for you to drive on...

Driving on crush velvet? A superb, posh alternative to the 'Trophee Andros'.
Those cars, if that's what you mean, are mine (s3 & GT3) my brother's (CSL) and Dad's (Aston and Triumph). I've done 12000 miles this year (since I bought it) including about 3 Vmaxes, 5 track days, 1 pan Euro trip and 1 Nurburgring 'pilgrimage' (the only noun you're allowed to use). I live in North London and it does get an occasional town trip but its not an 'occasional' car if you get my drift.

Nervous - please ignore the above post by DanH. I'm sure it's all true, however in this case you need a GT3.
It doesn't matter to you whether you track it or not and it doesn't matter whether it's less than perfect for day to day driving. It's your car. Buy it now. Right now.
Or I will.......how would you like that eh? Another bidder on your car? Not a nice feeling is it? Quick - phone them up and give them a refundable deposit......I'm reaching for the phone myself......
