I'm also interested in lightly tuning a 964 or 993 engine and was thinking of replacing the induction side with Jenvey throttle bodies and a Motec ECU and a lightened flywheel to start off with.
The seeing how I get on I may want to upgrade a bit with some additional internal work.
Not looking for big power just something a bit more responsive so will follow this thread with interest.
Mind you if someone can point me in the direction of a complete stock 993tt engine for sale that would be even better.

A guy came here in it looking to part exchange it for a 996 GT3 RS (ex-Sambaman) a couple of years ago. Given what I've since learned about the car from this thread perhaps I wall a little harsh on its value - he wanted £19k and I thought that was way too much (although to be fair 964 prices in general have risen since then). He was local (Cheshire) but I doubt he still has the car.
Thanks for that - anyone else seen it more recently?Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
