having been in trackdemons NSX at vmax it was a quick car, but not turbo quick, I'd be amazed if that was the case if both are standard.

If its any help for comparison, I have been in a 997C2S (355BHP) and a 2 UP face lift NSX (02+) was quicker from about 30mph onwards.

I thought that was baffling!

lots of 'super battle' vids on youtube comparing this sort of thing, and the NSX is clearly still one hell of a car...

a long but interesting video, 13.25 has a 1/4 drag between the C2S and NSX-R, race starts at 23 ish

Is yours a later model as I think they have 320BHP?

As a matter of interest.
What difference is there between the 2 964's you have?
I would imagine that the 400bhp one is a fair bit quicker.

I would say its 320bhp.The difference between the two is,the white 964 (400 bhp)is much quicker than the red standerd (320bhp).Driving them both back to back the red one just drives like a brand new car.

How exactly do you mean drives like a new car?
I guess the fact its on 17`s vs 18 might feel a littel different but steering should be much the same, no?

Not a dig, but how do you find the lack of sport seats in your red one?

Are you sure? Look in the inside of you maintenance book and if it has the code 383 and 387 then that is left and right sport seats.

Maybe its my eye sight, but these dont look like sport seats to me. Yours look like the standard comfort seats. The bolsters are massive on the sport seats and really hold you in place.

I feel it's odd that sports seats weren't standard on the turbo!

They're not sports seats from the pic. As had been said, the sports seats have massive side bolsters - wings that Claire Rayner would have been proud of. Quite distinctive.

PS the sports bolsters have an almost square side to them. I'll try and find a pic.

PPS not sure why they weren't standard, but even the 996tt came with 'slim' bolster seats as standard, didn't it?

Here we go... sort of squared off 'nose' to the bolsters and stick out like coat pegs.
