Weekend was decent thanks for asking, spent Saturday digging out and installing 11 concrete fence post repair spurs which you can read about on my other thread, with the help of a friend, then went down the pub, came home, watched ‘The Room’ which is the worst film ever madehttps://youtu.be/nJfULHJ7U78
Sunday went to Twickenham where we were entertaining customers in the hospitality bit plus England won, one of only 2 times I’ve seen them win a live sporting contest that I’ve been present at- the other time being a friendly against Switzerland at the old Wembley, so long ago that Gaza was playing!
Thanks for asking bud, how was yours? Bit of sun out on Saturday did you get the roof open? x

There's a fairly significant difference between Gaza and Gazza.
Oh Jesus. Don’t know whether to edit it or not now- do you think people will know what I meant? Oh shoot. Chucking Jesus into the mix won't help.
The Cayenne seems to get on the wrong end on the majority of the, er, wrongness.

Back on topic though.
With the current super low price of 986 Boxsters they will be falling into the hands of lads that just want to trash then for 6 months and hope they don't break. They will be serviced by back yarders (if at all). Along with the Cayman, I always have a half share in a cheap hack car with a mate to do fun on roads rally stuff like Irish Cannonball runs. Had a £750 MX 5 and just swapped it for a MG TF 1,8. Even we will start looking at Boxster 2.5 soon...
The number of good ones could be falling fast the next few years...minters will have their day in the sun I think.

It happened with the 944 about 15 years ago. They got cheaper and cheaper to the point that people bought them because of the badge kudos and ran them into the ground. Most hence became ropey and were broken for parts, leaving only the good ones which suddenly became expensive. Try finding a 944 S2 that you'd want to own for less than £10k, or a Turbo for less than £15k. They are around, but you need to spend a LOT to get a decent one.
I can well believe that the 986 and 987 will go in exactly the same direction.

I can seriously see mint 986 and 987 being sought after. They look great and it's just their current ubiquity that makes them cheap. It happened with the 944 about 15 years ago. It's one of the best open top handling cars out there and if the number of good ones fall then they will be sought after.

It sold once before so it might be back. I like it but not sure that front bumper is correct aero as per rest of car?
I don't think it's technically the 'Aerokit', the seller lists the options fitted, and in there are XAG - Carrera fixed rear spoiler and X76 - Side skirts, the front bumper is standard, and the rear spoiler is a different one to the GT3 Aerokit style one, still looks a Billy Bargain though, but it is quite 'red' on the inside.anonymous said:

I was listening to a financial commentator talking about Germany and how cars were such a big part of their economy/manufacturing.They are so late to the electric car party that it's really going to hurt the country. ICE dales are falling year on year let alone performance ones!
The only good thing about all this is it forces you to drive your cars NOW...with cheap 987's out there we'll look back on the next 5 years as a great time never to be repeated.
