It's a trade seller who has clearly written things which are not true - about the engine for one. DAF comes to mind (and not the maker of big trucks and that very questionable CVT car back in the day).
Yes, I've been following it from the start and the whole description and replies in the Comments section have been a total car crash. Then you look at the pictures and the state of the 'work'. Anyway, people are bidding so there you go....

The winning bidder is going to have a nasty shock when they wake up next to that one morning. Proper 10 pinter .... better make that 15!!
Wife and I woke up one Sunday morning to emails telling us we'd won a mid-century Danish dining table on fleaBay.
We'd honestly, totally forgotten we'd bid on it. That was a 'good' surprise.

I was following this one, not to buy it but out of interest as I would really like one of these one day.I think the vendor said he bought it in the summer through Pearce & Dale, it think it was up for £195k or £199k there.
Maybe the number of previous owners suppressed the final figure.
Nice looking car though
There was a PTS red one sold in the USA recently for $300K - don't know what the mileage was.
Odd that this one seems to have been through a number of owners... and I know it might be down to circumstance but you wouldn't normally buy a car like this in Summer and sell in winter.
Pearce and Dale owned the car for a few months and then sold it, Bought it off a well know Porsche specialist…so that would explain a couple of the owners. They are a lot of people’s favourite 911’s so I think a lot are in collections and a lot are owned by people hopping to make money out of them….very few get used properly these days,
Would agree about the value compared to a well used LHD 4.0 although obviously now you have to pay 20% to import those cars from Europe.

I remember that and the name - didn't they used to advertise in UK cinemas years ago? They also had a grey/weiss gold one on sale, tormenting me last year.
These low miles cars might have nothing wrong, but equally they can have a lot that's never needed to be attended to - coolant hoses etc. - if not used. I also have a morbid fear, at that price point, of inadvertently buying a wrecker.

The way track insurance is going, my original plan of switching to an RS might have to change to converting mine to a 4 litre....

Tks it’s totally straight . Additional to the service and work listed just last month it had new clutch, new bump stops and coffin arms, new battery service and MOT plus new condensers & rads
It drives better than my C4S that’s done 32k miles .
Makes no sense to me to buy a 993 C2S for 100k when you can buy a sorted 996 C2 that drives better.
The addition of the PCCM+ is also a nice bonus too.

The upgrade to the head unit massively updates the cabin IMO, seems like a flipping bargain on the face of it!
Enjoy!
