I think the ceramics are over priced without doubt but this is a track car fundamentally therefore or me it must have Pccb buckets and cage. If I were looking for a second hand GT4 I would dismiss those without. Just my humble but if I was to think of moving the 4 on it'd be for a GT3 and again only a club sport version would do!.

Personally don't think you can go far wrong with red ,black, or white!

Incidentally on the seat front interesting to see in the original 991rs brochure both sets of buckets were offered as if porsche new the 918 style would not suit everyone along with adaptives whereas the gt4 does not show folding buckets and for av185 the folding buckets cost £700+ more to spec on a 991gt3 over a GT4!
This was a question I wanted to ask. Would a clubsport spec'd GT4 potentially with carbon brakes always be at the higher end of the resale valuations, or would by limiting the potential audience mean you'd recoup less than a sensibly spec'd road/race option?
I'd be inclined to go one of two ways, as the car would be nothing more than a toy, though can't say it is likely to hit a race track sadly, as I acknowledge my track skills will soon find me in the dirt!

I have gone CWM with platinum wheels after much debate and looking at cars,some would say why pay£558 extra over white is crazy but it works for me I hope as I have not seen one in the flesh and I did not like the standard white car with black wheels at pec but as said before colour is personal so there really is no right or wrong colour for an individual's caritsybitsy said:

CWM is a lovely colour and one that we've both had with the previous cars; just a bugger to keep clean but not really an issue. I'm steering towards this colour at present, but with the black wheels, on the presumption that PTS (special paints) won't be an option again.isaldiri said:

agree a track cars should be on steels @ £5k a corner tracking a GT4 with PCCB could get very expensive.road car then CCB are good as they should last the life of the car, sadly on track they don't like the heat and don't last that long although they feel great while they do work esp on the 987.2 cars vs the standard smaller set up.

It's not the same as the flat. Carrara white we had on our 987.2 it's a fairly new colour choice that I believe was introduced with the arrival of the 918itsybitsy said:
