I would prefer it in a grey tbh.
Will Porsche buyers please move on from "grey"!

And by move on, I'm not suggesting a Jordan's boudoir redleather interior with red roof. Plenty of room for the style police here...

You've got a problem with grey stitching?

What colour have you ordered on yours?

FFS the world is full of little grey men in little grey Porsches. No doubt you had a "clever" response in hand for whatever answer was given. Good for you.

Ive got a million of them but, back to talking cars. what exterior colour did you opt for with your black leather (I'm assuming it's black leather if your stitching, as stated, is black)?

I'm simply interested because I'm still unsure about the choice.

I'm sorry but you self-appointed taste police act is very dull. Would you just let people chose what they want and keep your own "clever" comments to yourself?

Yup, big step forward. Now stands on its own as a serious mid-price sportscar. There's nothing gets close for £50k which isn't a trackday special. Hopefully reliability will be improved too.

Leg - why not get agate interior then you get contrasting stitching on dashboard

Looks nice.

I was thinking about that. Does that apply with full agate or only when it's mixed with pebble? Pebble is too light for me on a DD tbh. Looks great but I think it will show the wear and tear of daily use.

Full agate leather has matching dark stitching. Looks very good. Probably worth seeing a car in it if you're considering it, and take care in combining with body colour. I preferred it to black as I thought black was 'too black' and I wondered how much more black that interior could get. None more black.

Agate/pebble is no good for me because I live in jeans, and it's almost white. Also the full leather version has a lot of pebble in the car which again, is worth seeing. The bi-colour leather package has a lot less pebble. I think there are pics of both dotted around here.

They're all nice options though - just personal taste.

Thanks Steve. Pebble is out for me for similar reasons. We are casual at work so I'm in jeans more often than not.

Ill look at full grey although I'm not sure it will contrast with the agate exterior enough. After finalising my spec I'm now debating which phone kit it should have and whether to upgrade to BOSE.

Sales guy will love me.

EDIT - so after speccing PCM phone and being told I didnt need it I ask "Will bluetooth show the address book on screen" and get this:

"The Bluetooth phone system will show numbers however you will have to manually load them into the system via v card .will not work i phone that way the only way you can get them all on the screen is on a PCM system"

So, PCM it is, as I ordered in the first place and was told I didnt need it. Doh.

^here are some pics of agate body and full agate leather: http://pedrosboard.com/read.php?7,20701,20705#msg-...

The agate leather is grey in the shade and goes browner in direct sunlight. I think the interior in the Walter Rohrl Monaco Rally video is full agate - you see it on there in light and shade. I had a 24hr loan car with full agate and loved it. The loan car was anthracite brown and it looked superb. I've gone for platinum silver though, mainly because I want a change from dark cars.

Re phone, the PCM module does Bluetooth HFP as well as rSAP (superior, if your phone supports it - the iphone currently doesn't). The phone prep is HFP only. I don't know if it affects bluetooth audio streaming.

Hope this helps.

^and the PCM module works fine with iphone and you can view your address book in the right-hand instrument binnacle and scroll/dial with the stalk.

Porsche Edinburgh have a platinum silver PDK transmission Boxster S in stock just now that is due to become their demo car - very nice looking car, and saw it briefly at the weekend when down in Edinburgh visiting friends

Basic price - £43,600. With options, £56,463. Not sure I would go for their spec though.

They've offered a reasonable opening trade in value for the TTRS against that car, so I guess there are deals to be done if I was serious - I actually thought the RS may have depreciated more in the 20 months we've had it that their offer suggests.
