That does look like a really lovely 996...very well bought thumbup

The upgrade to the head unit massively updates the cabin IMO, seems like a flipping bargain on the face of it!

Enjoy!
Cheers . I’m just having some small works done to the rear brakes but I’m at a quandary as to what car to keep .

My 4S is on 32k miles , Hartek rebuild and great engine compression but I’d say the C2 drives better

Previous owner works in the carrera cup series and has been offered a job by Porsche motorsport so it was reassuring to buy the car from him especially as he’d done a lot of the recent works on the car his self .
In an ideal world I’d keep both as the 4S is a cabriolet but the C2 is a non sunroof 2WD and feels beautifully light on its toes .
I know, first world problems.

The way I feel right now I’d let the 4S go and keep the C2 as it’s really that good .

It also looks even better in the flesh and as you say the PCCM+ makes a big interior difference.

Looking forward to some longer drives

Does anyone know if you can tell if a car has met it's reserve prior to the auction ending?

Questionable VIN, prior accident damage and 81k miles, I don't think it's going to set any records!

A micro mileage one just sold at Paragon for 1.295 mil.

and the comments have unearthed some……well let’s call them ‘repairs’ so I would be surprised if this car sells unless the reserve is lowered substantially.

I don't know about others but I certainly prefer the 2005 version of the 959 hehe
