Really like the red roof with seal grey. Any other mods planned?
Probably not looked into some horse power gains but the cost versus gains do not stack up
May go 18" alloys at some stage but the current alloys are immaculate with pretty new rubber on

May put on some drl on the car very aware not to turn the car into a chav mobile!!

996 throttle body and Plenum with new 80mm diameter intake is quite cheap for a power boost.

Any dyno-based examples of that?

A month into ownership of my 99 boxster and I still love her. I have replaced both rear upper control arms and the arb bushes but I knew these needed done when I bought the car.

My only complaint with the car is the storage space inside the cabin. There was none due to the fact a previous owner had removed the lower console and fitted the 996 gt3 console delete kit. I have solved this by buying the console and fitting bracket from a breaker on eBay for £50 (delivered). Got it fitted and moved my stereo to this location and fitted a storage bin where the stereo was. I now have two storage bins in the dash/console. Perfect for phones/wallets etc.

I have also disconnected my cd changer and fitted an aux in cable to the factory head unit. The other end of the aux in cable goes through the back of the new lower storage bin and works perfectly. Here is a before and after pic.

I now have a console delete kit and cd changer to sell on eBay.

Just thought I would share.

I've just bought a very cheap cut of the joint also.

Bit disappointed to find that green, rouched brown trim, 16 inch wheels, auto and accident damage are not as desirable as I thought.......doh

yes

Fairly sure - Think I saw mention of a chap who was asking how much posters thought their Dad's car was worth. Anyway first thoughts were "This will not go well as they seem to think £7.5kish and I'm having trouble thinking more than £3k."

Did anyone else see this weeks Fifth Gear? They had Plato reviewing a bit of Poverty Pork in the shape of a £5k 'S' against a 3.0 Z4 and an RX8. Surprised he actually preferred the RX but mainly because they are silly cheap, but from what I'm told a time bomb waiting to happen. rotate

I did, was very interested as looking at Boxsters, he lost all credibility for me the moment he said he would choose the RX8. I know they are quite good, but against a Z4 and a Box?

I took his decision being based on the Madza being only £1500, which made it a bit strange being in the line up of £5k used cars, especially as the whole section was based around the 'average price of a used car in this country' being about £5.5k. banghead

It was very random. Here is what sports car you can get for 5k. Our recommendation is this one for 1.5 and 3.5 for petrol/new engine

They could have put an S2000, 350z or MX5 in there instead and it would have made more sense
