I am a little perplexed..............please can someone enlighten me.

I bought a 05 KN Turbo, the last time I checked it had a fcensoredk off enormous V8 in the space at the front. Turbocharger. Four wheel drive and circa 2 tonnes in weight.
Now I may not be the brightest or sharpest tool in the drawer but I managed to figure out all on my own, without sharp scissors, and only using crayons the following revelation. "The fuel economy is going to be on the bad side of lousy".....................Hardly a shocker and yet it seems some posters on here find lousy fuel economy from such a car to be a shock. So why worry if it is 10,12,14 or 16 MPG It is going to be bad, really bad and hurtful at the pumps.

Well WTF did you expect? If you don´t like the figures don´t buy the fcensoredg car.
Sermon and rant over.

Perplexed and confused from lots of searching through year old posts?

If you had read it properly the original post was shock as to how GOOD the new Cayenne Turbo is on MPG.

Did you just need a little rant?

Cheers

I have just done a 1000 mile round trip to the Nurburgring in my Gen 1 Turbo , good speed there and back and 2 laps of the Ring (its all i could do as i was ill!) and my average fuel was 17.9 to the gallon which i thought was good :-)

What sort of mpg do turbos 2015 and newer Turbos get? Some say 15mph others say more on a motorway run.

I've had mine a month now and posted the other day I got 25 mpg on a run to London and back, wasn't gunning it but that also includes the drive round central London at rush hour

If you drive it hard you'll get less than 20 mpg, but if you use it on a drive to work, mine is 15 miles and a mix of a roads and motorway, I can get between 22 and 25mpg. I thought i was getting more per tank, on average as with my GTS i would get about 280 miles from a tank but with the turbo 350 is easy. But I think it might be a slightly bigger tank

And their figures arent far off true, on the motorway to my local OPC at about 75mph i reset the trip and was getting over 29 mpg!!!!

And the car is awsome as well!!!!
Is this accurate??

I think on the facelift the models the mpg improved. In comfort mode the engine goes into economy mode?
