RMS failure - Early warning signs?

Thanks for that, thinking about it, it could be the problem. When the drops first occured they seemed quite watery and I wasn't convinced it was oil, it was just too thin. I tried the rubbed fingers and even sniffed it. The drips are definitely oil now, so that might fit. She'll be going in for a service over christmas, so I'll get it looked at then.

Mileage doesn't seem to make any difference. I have an 03 C2 that has covered 15,000 miles under my ownwership (only 21k in total) and i'm about to have my 3rd RMS fitted. Despite this Porsche still maintain this is acceptable!!
