Iguana,
Just a quick question why does the LSD make them not so friendly on B roads?

Thanks

Well big torque & LSD = sideways is easy & an LSD wont allow one wheel to just spin up if it hits damp spot, goes over broken bit of tarmac, smidge of gravel, hedgehogs, horse crap, dead badgers, fallen leafs, small deer, farm workers, etc etc & all the other crap found on a uk twisty back road surface, & a chipped 250 944t has a large hit of on boost torque right in the midrange & when you have a fairly stiff rear with MO30 the rear end gets a bit frisky, a non LSD 944 is (for me anyway) far easier to control.

On a real twisty bit with a not great surface my old S2 with standard wallowamatic suspension was quicker & less stressful drive than either my MO30 944Ts, tho the smaller turbo 220 car which was chipped also was better (tho I prefered S2 engine characteristics) as the 220s smaller turbo doesnt give such a big hit as the 250s & so you are able to get on the power much earlier out of bends etc etc.

Hope that answered Speeds question. I suspect any 944 is likely to be slow after the bike.
Whenever the S2 or turbo question comes up it appears that for sensible normal road use, which lets face it, is all thats really possible on current roads, the S2 has it and the turbo original or chipped must be the cheapest best trill to be had on trackdays. Diver944 has got it well sorted!
