what i was told on the phone around November, I have another friend with a later slot that is around dec/jan but not for sale.

I'm not bothered so much to hear this about the GT3 RS. It is the ultimate 911, the 'legend'. It should be rare and difficult to get hold of (althoug feel for the OP - been there!).

I was however royally peed off that the GT4 is limited. It was meant to be a car for the enthusiast at reasonably accessible price. It should have been just a normal production model. If Porsche were worried about stepping on the toes of the GT3, surely the fact the GT4 was 'common' would have only further helped the GT3's status as the unicorn.
