hi folks,

i've finally managed to put the video together, but haven't quite figured out how to blur the licence plates.

I'm using iMovie on the Mac. does anyone have any suggestions. It's a massive Quicktime file so i can't really email it to people, although i may be able to set up a temporary location for people to download it from.

Cheers

Pav

Not a mac user so can't help. Unless someone knows how to do this?

I think if you host the video temporarily where people who came can download it then that maybe how to do it. If you pm where it is being hosted then I can pm all who came the location?

Whatcha think?

hi cal,

you should receive another email with instructions on how to access the folder online. it should have 1 file in it.

might be worth checking if my emails are in your junk mail folder.

its hard to believe i actually work in IT. stupid 'puters.

Thanks for the email, bit of a headache the file is way too big to download. Tried viewing but keeps on saying additional plugins required when I already have quicktime player(i'm on crappy vista).

I think you can put the movie into your Apple account website (if you've set one up - I haven't yet idea ) and then send a password to whoever you want to see it.

My mate always does this with photos he wants me to see.

That may be an easier and safe way to do it.

I could then just email the password to all the attendees.

I think it needs to be put in the MobileMe Gallery if using a Mac.

thanks Nitro. i don't have a MobileMe account and i've already used up the free trial.

i'm fiddling about with the settings to try and get the file size down, but still keep the quality.

Cal, there's a lower quality video in the folder if you want to take a look.
