I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has experience of or owns an early SWB car. I am intrigued by these cars as quite often people who have been lucky enough to experience a wide range of 911’s say these early cars have something special about them. Clearly they aren’t cheap cars and the one’s that are tend to reflect the uncertain nature of the ownership proposition.

Get yourself over on Ddk. Plenty of swb owners on there and some fresh builds going on. Great fun cars ... I used to have a 1967 2.0 ( owned at the same time as my 2.4s ) and spent plenty of time driving a 1967 2.0S . For me , I prefer the lwb . The swb felt more ‘classic car’ . The 2.0S with the high Reving motor was a fun drive

Yes they are apparently great to drive,...no interest in a race spec car ! 911 in its purest form. Visually and to drive,
