PORSCHE 991 50th Anniversary Edition
Discussion
I don't know if they'll go the way of the Sport Classic. I think it's a better looking car - the C4 body kit and the lines, particularly in graphite grey are lovely. It's the details that really make the car for me - the instrumentation, louvres and so on. I think it's a car that you get if you see it in the metal.
I seriously considered it about a year ago but decided that the premium was too much relative to what it was. I couldn't find a good manual at the time either.

What are peoples thaught on the 2014 50th anniversary edition cars, with limited numbers made and quite high price tag will they hold there value or plummet in a year or 2. love the look of the 991 but so many models to choose from.
thanks
Can't see them dropping. We owned one since new and have no intention of selling. I think Porsche got it spot on with the retro styling. Make sure you get the houndstooth interior and the sports mirrors.thanks

I had one for a few months last year, and really liked it. As for will it keep its value..? Who knows, but as its made in fairly small numbers, and it does feel really special inside (as long as it has the cloth houndstooth seat centres), I cant see it depreciating like other 991sthanks

Good enough for a perfectionist like Raymond Blanc. Look great 'in the metal'. Only though who 'know' will recognise it for what it is though.thanks
