I call insurance job. Quick way of collecting the premium
Yer why didn't I think of that.... Smash my pride and joy up with my mate at the wheel for the premium or I could have just sold it!!!! Blindingly obvious I'm annoyed with myself I didn't spot that!!!!cd1957 said:
I wouldn't let any friend drive my pride and joy,no matter how good a friend they are, especially with the weather as it is,and how long it would take to get another GT4, that's if you can get a new one.
I would and have. Including on track days. The same friend has let me drive his cars. The caveat being that I know that the friend has the experience of such cars and applies the same level of mechanical sympathy and judgement of conditions that I do myself. If an incident occurs when they are driving I would be content knowing that it could well have been the same if I was in the driver's seat.Zingari said:
It does beg the question whether the 'mate' was fully comprehensive and named on the policy rather than relying on his own with TP liability
Not necessarily - my policy covers me to drive ANY car fully comp and also any driver (over 30) to drive mine. Admittedly not for track use and quite expensive at £1,600 per year v8ksn said:
Does anyone know how the crash happened?
I'd love to know that too, I did ask at the start of the thread whether it was a single car accident or not. It either looks like they collected the scenery or on coming traffic with under steer or a car coming the other way came into them.
Your guess is as good as mine.
