The most Challenging 911 ?
Discussion
964RSR.
Paul McLean has one in, I think, at www.gtclassics.co.uk
Otherwise 993 GT2 tuned to Feanspec 500+ bhp.

What about a 993 RS?
It's too friendly to be 'the most challenging'.
The turbos have 'interesting' power delivery in the early cars and ludicrous wheel spinning capabilities when modified in the later ones... making them a challenge.
The GT3 and 993RS are challenging compared to the vanilla variants, but quite user friendly on many levels. A 964RS, launching itself off a cats eye at speed, or snapping on you in the wet, is more of a thing to master... I tried, I failed... I shall return (badgers beware!)
Out of your list, either GT2 probably fits the bill best as they pile on a lot of speed quickly, little driver aids and 2WD only. The 993GT2 will be a tad more challenging to drive, perhaps just because of pedal layout etc. So maybe that's the ultimate of your list.
PS 964 at Gt Classics was a 964 Cup wide body; close but not the real thing. So this is more stripped out and less streetable. Still a big challenge tho'... and at 42k a bit of a bargain. Mummy, I want one NOW!!!!

I have never driven a 911 but have been told by an owner that the 930 Turbo 3.3 was 'Death On Wheels'
And the 996 GT2 is a "widow maker"
It's not the car, it's the driver that is "death on wheels".
Turn off defensive mode
No need to be defensive, I love cars like yours
