Just bought a 1985 928S at the weekend and it's a marvellous car! I really can't believe you can get so much car for so little money! I can see how easy it would be to lose my licence on this one
Of course, I'm having a few minor teething problems which I'm hoping someone can help me with... for example, does anyone know how to reset the trip mileometer? I'd expect a little black button to press right next to it but can't find a thing...
Also, where's the best place to look for 'small' parts - one of the hydraulic struts on the boot needs replacing, and the plastic grill-type-thing that surrounds the front left set of lights has also perished. They seem a bit too small to merit finding a main dealer, though...

Thanks all - yes, you're all right, it is actually an S2.
Type911 is a great site - thanks for putting me on to them!
But I have to confess ignorance - what on earth is a moveable binnacle? The dictionary tells me it's a "case that supports and protects a ship's compass, located near the helm" which doesn't sound quite right somehow!
I was a bit gobsmacked last weekend when, driving back from picking the car up, I got overtaken by another B-reg gold 928S2 - exactly the same year and colour as mine! I didn't realise I'd bought such a common car...
