PCGB Silverstone Track Day July 28th?
Discussion
Anybody?
Got a letter reminding me of this crown jewel of a track day and just booked in.
Any other 8 valve Corrados attending?
The height of summer so a deluge guaranteed but at least copious quantities of premium rat and sugary fluid can be imbibed whilst certain conspiracies are confirmed or debunked.
Nothing beats the feeling of being absolutely emasculated by some octogenarian in a 750 bhp race car.
Better get some of that blue stuff in the brake lines though...

Approaching 60, only abt 550 bhp and only a road car with safety bits...hope i can satisfy ur wish!
Exceptional news!
I await my automotive chastisement with gritted teeth and ceremonial spiked helmet.
Btw, Petepeter - a small sparrow in the next shrub let it be known that, aside from occasioning modest dabs of dental torture, you are custodian of something not exactly hopeless when it comes to track work?
Does this mean you will be around for the day/participating?
N'Orc.
Received my copy of Circuit Driver's Silverstone DVD-Rom yesterday (excellent turnaround from ordering the day before, btw )...great stuff - thanks for the recce, Uncle Don.
Mark Hales is absolutely excellent but I'd have liked a little more info as to suggested braking points and likely gear selection.
For track positioning, however, I think a couple of days' more obsessive repeat viewing will have me spinning off at Luffield like a good 'un in double quick time!
Anyway, don't forget to do a quick sun dance this weekend...
