3.4 996 vs 3.6 996.

In the market for a Carrera 2, may just be able to stretch to one of the facelifted models. Apart from the obvious power gain is it worth the extra £3-4K over the last of the Mk1s'?.

Am thinking about waiting till the 997 is out, hopefully a few earlier 3.6 models will be available at that time. Now that i think it may be possible to go for a 3.6,I know that i would rather wait.

Just been offered an 01 Y reg Carrera 2 in blue with
grey interior, sat nav and 'roof with 17k miles for £40K. Might not wait after all if it looks good in the flesh!

Have decided to beg, steal and borrow the money and go for a facelifted version!, may as well have the car that I really want...

The 01 in blue was offered by a trade contact, the dealer who offered it to him was waiting for the seller to swap it in.

have asked him about my latest idea so will see what he comes up with, also perusing all the adds to see whats out there.

musn't be in too much of a hurry...there will be something!
