Can anyone recommend someone to fit a CD Changer in the boot of my Cayenne? The dealer reckons it takes 2.5 hours at a cost of £300+parts. Funny thing is that Porsche GB specify that they come pre wired, so why it takes 2.5 hours is beyond me!

If anyone has fitting instructions, I will have a go myself!

I am based in East London / Essex area.

The upper nuts for the fitting bracket are obscured and so to do the job propery does indeed necessitate the removal of a goodly proportion of the rear trim in your car. £300 quid`s worth of removal ? Tell them Henry sent you and they will treat you like a king - or queen ! The Boxster is a whole heap easier, the changer is not hidden by trim in the same way. Thanks Henry and others! Its nice to have an alternative to the OPC's. Particularly for work where the all important dealer stamp doesnt matter!!
