993 Prices tipped to rise again in 2015
Discussion
I had a discussion with one of the Porsche buyers who said that 993's were tipped to rise again in 2015
Looking at the asking prices on Turbos and 9934S and 2S I wonder who is buying them. Anyone
Latest "gulp" price is a 16000 mile 1996 Turbo at £140,000. Last year - what, £65,000 + a bit perhaps
I have a 9934S that is in theory worth £75,000 and a GT3 worth say £140,000
Getting scared to drive them - and that is stupid

well I have bought an SL500 2006 model that has all the boxes ticked and was £92K new
Has all I need for a daily drive and more - and a change from Porsche
I had a 2001 SL to assess how much I would like it and I did - so the V8 5,5L will be fun in winter and summer with that full glass folding roof

I have had my 9934S for 15 years and would never sell so its all academic what its worth
And the GT3 was the ultimate treat to myself and again never to be sold. Although it would go before the 9934S !
My comments about not driving the 993 and the GT3 are tongue in cheek comments - too big a smile on my face when I drive either
Happy days !

The 9934S was possibly worth £35,000 5 years ago as the economy was not in great shape
If you look at the prices of cars similar to mine ( 2 owners from new, 55000 miles, full Porsche main dealer history) then add £40,000 to that price
That gives a uplift of £8000 pa
But the price is of no interest to me as its not for sale - just an observation to prompt discussion
