TYRES FOR 993 TARGA

Taken a 993 Targa into stock recently on the standard (I think) 18" wheels......tyres are 35 profile and the ride is hard and not very pleasant........anybody think these cars are better on 17" alloys and bigger profile tyres??

Thanks for replies.think these are 3 piece split rims (RS type).will try and find some 17s for it.........will sell thses but all 4 need refurbing!
