I wonder what rollcage comes with the clubsport gt3.

I had a half cage (porsche one) put into my gt3 mk1. Does anyone know if a front cage can also be put in, that bolts into the floor - where might this end - top of the A pillar?

Also, i have in the back of my mind that front cages are not road legal? - is this right?

cheers

Ajit.

Cheers gents, i'm thinking of getting the front bit put in to complement the rear.

So am i right in thinking the front part is not joined onto the rear? If so, it would appear that I can get it put in. The mouting points should be there on the "comfort" version.

Ajit.

The CS cage is a big thick black job, suitable for motorsport use. It has a bracket to join the two halves together. The Maxpower alloy Tecquipment job is designed as a rear cage only and as far as I am aware will not allow the front part of the CS cage to bolt onto it. See the pics on the Carnewal site If you want the full cage then you will need to buy the whole thing and get it fitted all over again. Not sure if the front mounting points are in the Comfort spec, I don't think that they are.

Now now Steve, enough about big thick black things against my bling alloy tequipment maxpower jobee. Its more than just for show you know....gets me 'nuff looks, init.

I'd like a fuller cage but looks like i can't do it without removing my existing one. Don't want to do that either. I'll find out. I don't suppose the alloy tequipment one i have is as good as a roll bar as the clubsport one...if only i'd known when i did it.

I knew i shouldn't have looked at the carnewal site - you know what happened to my 993 when i frequented it...
