I have driven porsches for 18 years, and I picked up my first new Porsche a 997 C2S on thursday.
Today, just 3 days old, i found a nail in the right rear tyre, centre of tread.
This was detected by the tyre monitoring option.
Can the tyre be repaired or replaced by a standard tyre fitter or does it need specialist OPC knowledge/tools with the tyre pressure sensors fitted?.

Thanks,
However, the actual tyre pressure (psi) on the monitoring display increases as you pump up the tyre with the car stationary. I think it has a wireless sender in each valve assembly, hence not sure if its OK to take to standard tyre fitter.
