Afternoon All,

Hope your all out enjoying the sun! but for those of you who aren't... my car is in for repair (see "996 leak" ) I asked them to check the brake pads too and apparently one is nearly completely warn and have quoted me £300 odd to replace - is this a good price? Is it better (cheaper) to do it elsewhere?

Thanks

I asked because the brakes have been squeeking lately, even braking softly... major annoyance. I'm not mechanical at all (I'm sure you can tell from my posts! ) so I asked them to check the pads. Apparently one of the brake pads is about to trigger the warning lights on the dash, the OPC seemed helpfull though, but I'm obviously out for the best price, I don't have cash burning a hole in my pocket unfortunately

I didn't go for it ... the price I was quoted was just for rear pads
