engine modifications 944 s2

am thinking of buying one of a friend and was wondering how much room for improvement there is engine wise?? its the 3 litre model not turbo

its a cabriolet for 8500 and seems to be in very good condition.had a drive earlier seemed very nice quite a bit different from my tvr!! does anyone know of porsche specalists in the herts area?? what should i be looking for in the way of weak spots?(will prob get car checked by rac just to be sure)

its got 95000 and has full history(yet to look at paperwork to confirm though!)

will prob buy car as i have quite taken to it but do prefer the cup alloys is this a straight forward change??

will be using jz, car looks nice paul are the wheels still available new or can they be sourced second hand??
