Hi chaps
This is a tale that anyone who has work done on their car should pay attention. What makes this worse is that I was a mate !
I'd bought a 930 Turbo and had various mods done to it. 5 speed box being a fairly major one, and then the car had various problems after a "prang" (see links below)
Finally I had enough of .. (email me and I'll tell you who they are) and the car went to RSR - the choice was either 9meister but RSR are alot closer to me.
THe list of bodges on the car is unbelievable.
How about removing the rear dif ? And not bothering to tell me about it !!
Or only partially bolting the engine back in and then cross threading the 4 bolts and then only screwing them in a 3rd of the way !!
The list is endless and the cost has been astronomically. In fact the crash I had was directly related to a lack of a dif.
Not happy bunny today on hearing the news about the dif - another £1400 quid I need to throw at the car.

moral of the story - probably is learn to do it yourself or just go to the best guys around.
