Hi northandy, I bought the car last August, so i thought take off the plastic sills/arch liners etc etc and give it all a good clean. The car has only got mid 30s on the clock and has never seen a winter, so it was just a case of wipe the dry/dusty summer dirt thats settled over the last 12 years. To be fair the previous owner kept it in tip top order, i just decided to go the whole way and give it a good clean in those hidded places. I havent touched the engine bay other than to wipe the plastics.
To say i am staggerd at its condition is an understatement. My 20 month old 997S did'nt look this good when i sold it in 2007. All the exposed clips and fastenings had started to rust, not on this car though, they are factory fresh. I am a lucky boy!![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Its a lovely car, i take it its not a daily driver?. I imagine it that condition it must be a possible depreciation free zone.
