Hello

Last night driving home, all of a sudden the car start to lose power, the engine check light comes on.

Got the car off the M/way thank god...........

The car will idle, the oil press is ok, so is water temp..............the sound from the engine is like a boxs of nails in a tin.................no exhaust gases from the right pipe, but left ok.

Car is a 2001 996 C4.....34000 miles

Help..........and of course the car is no longer in warranty........such is life

Any ideas..........please

Would that be much to fix and do I take it to a Porsche dealer or a indepndent
