"All the rooms at this particular venue are now sold out!"

There is another venue now on offer!

The pre-match pie with a drizzle and some shaved parmesan, followed by a little Rumble in the morning with a cherry on top, is now building up to a good traffic jam size!!

Hurry on down though to the Sale !!!!!!!

....and that's a long way from Manchester 'n all !!

well done Ian, don't forget your camera. I've already booked a slot in 'Sprint' (it will be the Sept issue) and it will need a couple of really good pics

The pre-match is growing big, and the Rumble in the morning has grown to 11 Tuscans

There is another Hotel near me now taking bookings for the 13th..

...any takers!

"...one room left"

My car survived Le Mans (even though I lost my keys !!!) so I've booked up Keevil on the 14th and the New-Inn on the 13th. Looks like this is going to be a big'un with 40 Tuscan's tearing around the track. Don't hang about as the places are being snapped up.

Cheers,

Andy.

P.S. does a T440 still count as a Tuscan ? Just curious......

Just remind me Andy, how did you lose your keys?

Glad you got back OK, I am just about recovered from the whole weekend now - was in a daze when I met you and 'helped you in to the boot' - did it show?

Cheers
Graham - still looking for the job to pay for the track day

Hi all,

Firstly I would like to say just how much we at Motorsport Events are looking forward to running the Keevil event on July 14th.

Just so that everybody knows the event will be a very relaxed day at a magnificent location and everybody will be entitled to a 25 minute session of Instruction from one of our resident experts.

Our team of Instructors are all of the very highest calibre, all being acknowedged experts with experience of RWD, powerful cars and will be able to help everybody to understand car balance - how to achieve it successfully and what to do if you do not! Lift off oversteer, power understeer, braking and accelerating techniques and awareness will all be covered. Plus depending on demand will be setting up an area to teach emergency barking techniques - if this is of interest please contact us immediately!

Further lessons can be pre booked - it's amazing how a good Instructor can help identify mistakes and correct them quickly - making driving any car in the future much more rewarding and relaxing.

In terms of bookings there is plenty of space left and to avoid having to open it up to allcomers we need more of you! So again contact us ASAP, either by email or by calling Natasha on 0870 787 2116.

We very much look forward to meeting you all on the 14th.

Cheers,

Ed Moore

Don't forget to either bring your 'factory fit' cans with you to this event (with a 10mm spanner) or change them before you leave home!!

The noise limit is 100db You will exceed this with Carbon Can Co cans etc

more soon.....

Ok peoples, now is the time to check those brake pads for thickness, check those wheels and tyres, check your car in general ready for Monday

Also you need to have fuel cans ready filled - maybe do this on Saturday, you need 2" masking tape for the bodywork behind each wheel arch, and if you want to be double safe across the entire front bonnet (start at the top and work down) but do all the masking when you get there UNLESS it's going to be wet on Monday. If so do it before you leave even if you do look as though you've just stolen your car from a bodyshop!

Thin soled shoes at the ready, wether they are 'deck' type shoes or trainers they should have a narrowish sole so you don't press too many pedals at once (unlike I did once!)

Bring oil with you for regular top ups if required

A tyre pressure gauge is a good idea but there will be plenty there i'm sure
- anybody bringing a 12v tyre pump ?

Clean your car out of all the loose rubbish that's normally floating around, or bring a dustbin liner for that purpose and do it in the Paddock

Cash for Coffee's and buns etc

A helmet

A light coat in case it's wet

Your camera

Get your Mum to pack your vest!

What else ?

Nearly time for fun...........

Simon,

Firstly you have mail...

Yes I was going to bring along a 12v tyre pump, think it connects into the lighter socket but haven't tried it out.

brrrrmmmm! brrr! brrrmmmmm! (it's getting closer)

if your worried about taping your car and looking like a complete TWA tea

look at this www.tvrcc-c3c.co.uk/gallery.asp?offset=35

the one with the black duct tape over the masking tape. The tape on the bodywork behind the wheels has come off because it was wet in the morning!

Monday is meant to be 30 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was Bruntingthorpe, Keevil is nowhere near as gritty.
