Sorry "quality", didn't mean to upset you. Just thought you had been told that yours was the only one so far.

It is an amazing colour though, not for me, but it did look spectacular on the one I saw.

There is a Nebula black as well. Torn between that, moonraker black and the perlescent black which somehow looks blacker than the others.

When do you get to pick up the black meanie then?

Next Saturday (3rd May)!!

It's currently waiting for the anthracite wheels to be fitted, and I'm in two minds whether to ask for the aerial to be removed from the boot - I'm still not sure what I think of it on there!

Looks really good though - spent a couple of hours at Castle just sitting in it and staring at it, although it hasn't quite sunk in that it's going to be mine!

What about your one - it can't be too far away now can it?

Think I saw your car sitting in the workshop on Saturday!

Looks fantastic, Michael said it was waiting for some anthracite wheels, so it sounds like yours.

We may well be getting a perlescent black S with either red or grey interor inserts. Does it have to be from Castle to get the non-brass bits?

Yep, that was mine! I'm really pleased with the way the interior has come out - I spent hours with Ian and Michael going through colour schemes, so it's good that our work paid off! It should look even better with the anthracite wheels though!

I'm not sure about the ali dash and controls - I saw a car up at the factory that was destined for another dealer with the ali dials, but certainly Castle were the first dealer to get them.

That's OK. No harm done!

Nebula Black looks very stunning, and, probably due the black, has even more 'Sparkly - ability' than the blue! If I had wanted a Black car, then Nebula Black it would have been. The silver switches and dash face are a factory-option, so you can spec them from any dealer,

Just beware that I foresee Nebula paint being blamed for future traffic accidents as people passing by on the other side of the road turn their heads with open mouths

Hadn't even considered red interior bits until we saw your car Ed. My wife took one look and said that's what we want!

Cool Ed.

I haven't heard about mine yet other than in May. How far before the visit to the factory did you spec yours out?

BTW what happened to the pick of you with the car in build? The Mrs wants to see her handy work. Email it me via my profile if you prefer to posting it up.

Cheers
Maf

Please accept my humble apologies, Quality.

Please let me say once more, what a fine looking car you have there. More than happy to look at it all day. Very interesting to see the boot ariel too, first I'd heard of it.

Sorry Ed, maybe we'll get grey interior instead.

Actually we used your car for comparing the samples of different blacks, nebula, moonraker and the perlescent one by holding them infront of your bonnet

Felt similar to choosing curtains

lol tks Di!

Actually when I spec'd my car the factory sent me this paint spec which they had just put together. I have to say I did consider this spec but then had second thoughts as wasn't sure how it would look.

So well done to Qualityscrew for going with it...now I've seen it on the car it does look cool...but still glad I chose the Cascade Copper

Alan.

Trust you to wake us up. Thought it might have been something vaguely interesting. Can we go to bed now or are you getting ready to entertain us with more exciting snaps? Perhaps the garage door or maybe the lawn growing...

Nice colour...........what's the deal with the stubby ariel?...I've got an 2003 S with the DAB thingy but no ariel....works well enough but I have a pioneer head unit which I have to say is pretty crap.....very boring and definitely poor value compared to some of the ICE that is available at that price...Alpine, Sony etc.......guess TVR got a job lot or something.

Did you spec the ariel or is that the latest config?

No, I didn't spec the aerial - it appears to be standard fitment. I did upgrade the head unit to a Pioneer 5500 cd/MP3/Wma DAB unit, so this may be the reason why??

I think the aerial looks quite cool now though and the reception is Brilliant!
