As a current TVR Griffith owner and potential Tuscan owner I have every right to consult this forum and contribute my comments. You had better get used to my presence because I'm here for the forseeable future.
Remember the site is named 'pistonheads' so that should give you a clue as to it's purpose. Who voted you the King of the Tuscan Speed 6 forum?

Actually I did for one. And a bloody good job he does to. This thread is really getting too serious.

He may be your King m'Lady in the outside world but not on Pistonheads. If you two are self appointed King and his Lady then I'll be Master of the Universe. Okay.

How Noble

Hey, this is fun Can anyone join in or is a sense of belonging necessary?

Credit where it's due jigs, that was a rapid bit of thinking on your feet. Guess you like crosswords (think about that one) as well as Tivs then. Looks like you shot yourself in the foot though. Where's the hyphen R for the 'self-righteous' bit to match your granny's saying?

Perhaps, just perhaps, this is all getting just a little too serious. Me? I'm with Lady Topaz on that one - you can do that on here, nobody accuses you of anything nasty. C'mon guys, get the bottle out and chill

This Forum is not for the sole use of Tuscan owners, I am not yet a TVR owner though I work with Tuscan Challenge cars most race weekends, and a Marocs Mantis on others and spend time working on/looking at other TVR's in between, I'm still able to post comments that relate to Tuscans on the back of this.

Whether you own or wish to own a Tuscan/TVR comments/views seem to be generally welcome on this forum. Would say that there is no need for anyone to get out of their pram over wheather 'Tuscaneers' feel that this forum is good or not for god's sake there are much more important things going on. I will now step off the before I fall/get pushed or shot off

Happy TVR'ing

blimey! who or what rattled your cage Jigs? or are you just Trolling ?

Of course you have every right to consult this Forum, who's suggesting otherwise ?

jigs said:...and potential Tuscan owner
it's great that you may be a prospective Tuscan owner - cool, so why wind everything up on here before you start, unless of course you are a Tuscan Troll ?

jigs said:...Who voted you the King of the Tuscan Speed 6 forum?
well I would say you have by the look of it. I don't think i put myself up for the throne, but thanks all the same, but i'll decline that one, as a monarch isn't needed on here, it seems to be a thriving liberal democracy

Now, do you have any more time wasting exotic rhetoric or is that it ?

Simon

Slightly off topic but 21TVR have to say that your steed is looking mighty fine in the pic on your profile. Interior Portland and Nimbus?

Darren it's Portland Grey Nim with Buckland Grey seat inserts and dash top and pod, giving a two toney effect, also helps to keep the glare down - not sure if if i'd have a light interior again due to the constant cleaning - but it does make the interior stand out

Typically I saw a beautiful Crystal Topaz at Clark's TVR just after I had bought mine with a Portland and (somekind of) light blue interior, trimmed round the gear stick and on the pod etc - it may have been a bit L'oreal for me but did look stunning

Thanks Darren

Thanks for trying to diffuse situation but this is just the sort of crap that 21TVR was applauding the site for not getting involved in. If Jiggs is now going to favour us with his biggoted opinions then its going to be a long summer.

Oh Diane you are getting tetchy - must have touched a nerve. Talk of bigotry no less. Heavy stuff.
By my definition (and in Ireland we have all kinds of bigots)it was the original topic that promoted bigotry. Just look at the initial responses that denegrated the Tamora, S, Scooby, Lotus and Griffith forums in quick sucession. Hitler used the same tactics - promoting the Nazis as the Master Race and therefore encouraging denegration of Jews, etc. I merely pointed this fact out - perhaps you should all take a good objective look at yourselves as others may see you. This topic has a whiff of smug superiority that is very unbecoming.
That's all folks - speak to you again. My work is done here - Hi Ho Silver Away!

Wow, this has kicked off a bit, for my part I was having a giggle so appologies if I've upset anyone. I'm sure we're all TVR lovers at heart and this would never happen in a face to face situation.....things can too easily get taken out of context in print.

No I think it's great! It has exactly highlighted the very point of the topic in the first place. (It is just my opinion) but PH seems more and more open to this sort of complete pants, the need for some to get in there and stir things up big time - trolls!

All I was saying was that it's been really refreshing that the Tusk forum has not really gone down that road

...but speak of the devil and all that

No need to worry about calming things down. All that was wanted was a little attention, and he got that right enough - but then so did this thread, so great we're all happy!
