Hi,

Thats a shame for me as can't get there on a Monday, would have prefered a weekend date. The following weekend is not good either as am at the British GP for whole weekend.

Alan.

14th is OK for me. What's wrong with all the sound stuff - isn't it within spec. for a standard Tuscan exhaust ?

Andy it's just we are so close to the limit. i have come in at 96 and 98 depending on who is taking the reading and how far my right foot extends, this is just too close and it would be a disaster if some of us turned up and then couldn't go out on track!

So better to play safe than sorry

Sally do you mean the 24th or the 14th ?

Also there will be a price reduction on this day due to the cost of the venue - it looks like it will be £120 for the day (includes the tuition etc)

Catering will be provided in the form of a burger wagon, and there will be a honey wagon on site for those of us who get excited on these days!

Keevil is here www.streetmap.com/newmap.srf?x=392345&y=157190&z=3&sv=392500,157500&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf

Alf sorry you can't make it, that's a blow! i'm sure this is going to be part of the trouble (and having got it fairly sorted out, well it's just typical really)

Hi - if there are any spaces left I would be up for it! Why a Monday though? Are the weekends all booked up, or are we starting to clash with the racing calendar?

Plenty of spaces left Shamus! We've started again much to my annoyance

we're up to 7 at the moment (great we had 30!) but it's still early days on the new venue

it could be this though

I forgot to add:- The reason why it's Monday is because that is the only day of the week this Airfield is open for this sort of thing - it's a semi-active MOD site, a standby (reserve) airfield for RAF Lyneham. Fantastic spot though, very clean smooth tarmac with loads and loads of room - and nothing to hit if you get it wrong!

Simon - got your email. Monday 14th has a couple of really important work things that I shouldn't miss. So, b*llocks to those then.....

I'll be there. Venue suits me lots better anyway.

John.

Well done John, that now makes 8 - uuuum!

Funny thing, my eldest daughter (12) has just seen this page, she saw my Tusk on the last couple of posts - "oh cool dad is that your Tusk ?"

Then she saw the moderator logo under my handle - "What is that, you can't do that it looks pants! Oh, no that has to come off. people won't like that it's boastish!!!"

So there you have it!

(you may see it disappear very soon!)

beat wishes

Excellent! The change in date works in my favour (trialthlon on 12th). I'll check with the boss on Tuesday and book the day off. I'll be coming up from Guildford. Anyone else from down here?

Just got back from the city region trackday at Snetterton and can still smell the petrol and rubber in my nostrils! Therefore, count me in for the 14th....with bells on.
