After months of waiting, finally back on road !
Discussion
Just a post of sheer delight !! Iv recently had some ongoing niggles with my mk1 Tuscan S but i finally got it back from the garage the other day where its pretty much been since Feb long story short, water ingress.. but i have had the car back a few times throughout going in and its always had a small issue or something just not right and frankly i was beginning to run out of patience ! I would go as far as to say i was beginning to lose faith in the car and i even had a check of the classifieds once or twice... Mmmm alfa romeo 4C
At least that was until this week when i pick the car up yet again but this time.. ooh this time.. the car was amazing and is most certainly out to kill me !! But in a good way.. (if that makes sense!) Wicked fast up to speed and loves a bit of a tussle in the bendy bits.. She commands to be driven hard and enjoyed.. it needs some improvements but the fundamentals are there and i just had to share my sheer joy with the community even if deep down i cant shake this feeling that one day she is just going to decide to turn on me and in a puff of fibreglass, we shall be no more.. yet.. theres not another car in the world, id rather be driving
If anyone is considering buying one.. just.. yes !
I know Dags, i am too because i went out again in the car yesterday and what can i say.. its just... amazing !! My fear is im starting to get a little 'pushy' with the car but it does just yearn to be driven hard... and who am i to argue !! But sadly no plans for any other Tiv's in the collection, IF i did it would have to be a Cerb love TVRs, dont get me wrong.. fell in love with a Wedge i almost bought once but next for the fleet is likely either a 60's Alfa Spider or a 60/70's American barge.. fancy a Caddy Coup De Ville...
Hows your fleet going at the moment mate ??
And thats a fine looking Tuscan JJ ! Love the colour and a cracking pic, daring enough to brave the rain on a track is it ? Also totally agree with your philosophy.. just have an image of St Christopher shaking his head at the pearly gates as another TVR owner comes spinning in, on fire, yet laughing hysterically !!
